Matthew has been advising landowners on Agri-environment and woodland schemes since 1999. He brings both practical and academic expertise, having also lectured at Sparsholt College on Agri-environment schemes and Habitat Management. Matthew holds Natural England protected species licences for bats (Class 2), Great Crested Newts and Dormice and is actively involved in monitoring and conservation projects for these protected species. With connections across the Hampshire farming community, he facilitates three farmer clusters, driving landscape-scale collaboration between farmers, stakeholders and funding bodies.
